Last month the Renault ZOE was launched with the longest range for any mainstream electric vehicle, boosting its already considerable appeal. To confirm its class-leading usability and adding to its list of accolades the ZOE has since been voted the Best Supermini at the Next Green Car Awards.
As Europe’s best-selling electric car, the Renault ZOE was praised by Next Green Car’s expert judging panel for its outstanding 250 miles (NEDC) range and brilliant all-round package.
Judged on a varied criteria, including capability, suitability and value for money, the ZOE was selected for the annual awards through Next Green Car’s NGC Rating which rates the environmental impact of new cars on the market.
Commenting on their decision to vote the Renault ZOE the Best Supermini, the judges said “Renault roots out range anxiety with its new ZOE Z.E.40, offering a long range in an already strong supermini package. Nicely designed and easy to use, the zero-emission ZOE now has more than enough range to persuade even the most anxious driver into an EV.”
The 100% electric Renault ZOE offers a greater driving range and full flexibility through its Z.E. 40 battery, with a real-world range of 186 miles in summer and 124 miles in winter. Available from £13,995 for a Renault ZOE Expression Nav, the ZOE offers five-door practicality with 5 seats and 338 litres of boot space.
