The New Grand SCENIC is a smartly-styled, functional large MPV. Renault has recently updated the Grand SCENIC’s design and specification with a host of modern features. The Grand SCENIC made its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The New Grand SCENIC design has a confident road presence, with a distinctive silhouette that echoes the style of the Kadjar crossover. The front-end is dominated by a large Renault badge and stylish swept-back headlights, with front fog lights on the Limited Nav trim. There are various striking alloy wheel designs to choose from in both the Dynamique Nav and Limited Nav variants.
The spacious cabin can be specified with five or seven seats upholstered with synthetic leather and premium fabrics. The five-seat variant has a large boot space of 765 litres and there are useful storage spaces throughout the cabin. Dual-zone climate control comes as standard on both trim levels.
The Renault Grand SCENIC offers a choice of four Energy engines – two petrol and two diesel units – along with a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain. Renault’s new Energy engines are designed to offer refined, efficient performance with reduced CO2 emissions. The most efficient unit is the dCi 110 diesel engine, which returns 57mpg on a combined cycle with 105g/km of CO2.
Renault has equipped the Grand SCENIC with its latest flagship technologies and safety features. The driving experience is personalised using the drive-mode selector, which adapts the throttle response and steering to the drive.
Both the Dynamique Nav and Limited Nav trims feature TomTom satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The safety specification includes hill start assist and cruise control to deliver a safer and more relaxed drive.
