What warranty is included on a new Renault?
All new Renault models registered after February 1, 2012 are covered by a four-year/100,000-mile warranty.
This ensures any fault on your Renault within the first four years or 100,000 miles will be repaired, free of charge. It doesn’t include wear-and-tear items like tyres, brakes or windscreen wiper blades, or anything that didn’t come fitted from the factory.
It’s transferable, so even if you’ve bought your Renault second-hand, it’ll be covered as long as it was registered in the last four years.
Purchasing additional cover
You may want to extend your Renault warranty for a fifth year. This starts from just £229; pricing depends on the make and model of Renault you own. Contact us for a price based on your model.
A Renault Extended Warranty protects against mechanical and electrical failure after your car’s original four-year warranty has ended. You’re covered while driving in the EU as well as the UK.
It includes:
At the end of the additional year, you will have the option to purchase a further year’s cover and we will write to you as a reminder. We will continue to offer additional cover each year until your car is ten years old or has covered 100,000 miles.
You can only purchase a Renault Extended Warranty if your car is still covered by its original four-year warranty or a previous extension.
