£40,000 grant is changing lives

RMB are proud to be a patron of Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, whom have recently funded a £40,000 grant to Community Campus '87 offering six long-term apprenticeships to unemployed youths in the Middlesbrough, Stockton and Redcar area.

With two apprenticeships covering construction and four covering housing and administration, these will provide local youths with the opportunity to kick-start their working careers; one they may not have had otherwise.

Simon Virth, Service Manager, Community Campus '87 said "This funding will make a huge difference to the lives of six young people, giving them purpose, confidence, hope and aspiration".
