RMB is a diverse multi-franchise automotive dealership group covering the North of England. We are currently searching for talented, responsible individuals who are ready to take on multiple tasks, working closely with our Workshop Supervisor in the heart of the workshop team of the dealership. RMB Technicians are expected to carry out all workshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a customer focused position to provide excellent communication to customers to summarise the details of the work required or carried out and answer their questions on behalf of the workshop team, working with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless service to customers. You will also provide assistance and guidance to colleagues who are less skilled or knowledgeable about a particular vehicle or technology and coach and supports apprentice technicians.
The successful applicant will be involved in the repair, maintenance, inspection of vehicles. They must be able to complete diagnostic tests using manual tools and technological devices. Complies with vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Our Technicians are expected to carry out all workshop duties in an efficient and safe manner, to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
