Dacia’s new Duster meets the demand for a compact hatchback that offers off-road styling, and it is available today at a surprisingly affordable price. The model looks confident on the road and performs with equal assertiveness to help you reach every destination with little fuss.
For the new Duster model Dacia has modernised its looks by restyling the grille and adding revised alloy wheels. There's a range of additional metallic paint options too yet the car remains rugged and assured. The entry-level version includes durable black bumpers for the front and rear which are swapped for body-coloured mouldings on the Duster Ambiance. All variants boast a stylish chrome front grille plus branded roof bars for added carrying capacity.
Inside the crossover is comfortable and practical as passenger space is generous and there are numerous convenience features. The two-wheel drive Duster holds up to 475 litres of luggage in the boot which grows to 1,636 litres when you fold the rear bench flat. Comfort in all weather is guaranteed by standard fit climate control and in the Ambiance you benefit from a height-adjustable driver's seat.
The Duster arrives with all essential technology as standard including a gear shift indicator to help you drive efficiently and power assisted steering for effortless manoeuvring. Meanwhile, ECO mode optimises the car's fuel economy by altering performance so you can keep running costs low. Choose the Ambiance model for a radio/CD player that also features Bluetooth connectivity, Aux and USB input plus steering wheel-mounted controls.
A choice of two
engines are offered by Dacia to power the Duster and your adventures. The
standard unit is a 105hp 1.6-litre petrol which you can select with either two
or four-wheel drive. The two-wheel option is the cleanest and most efficient,
and when you climb the range.
You can opt for a dCi diesel with two or four-wheel drive also. The
latter produces 109hp while the 107hp alternative returns up to 56.5mpg
The Duster’s affordable price tag doesn’t mean a compromise in the most important areas, such as safety. The crossover includes active Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control to help prevent a loss of control when the car is under strain. An Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) works to stabilise the car when taking evasive action. There are also multiple airbags and ISOFIX anchor points for protection if a collision were to occur.
The Duster is the right choice for those who want a car they can rely on at a price that looks after their finances. Find out more by contacting a member of the RMB Dacia team and at the same time arrange a test drive.
