We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and highly professional Assistant Service Manager at our dealership in Northallerton, working within the busy Service Department for the Toyota brand. The successful candidate will support the Service Manager in maintaining and continuously improving service delivery within the department.
Role & Responsibilities
It is essential that you have significant experience of working within an aftersales department within a dealership environment. You will have management experience or significant service advisor experience and be ready to take the next step in your career. It is also essential that you have relevant up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design, consumer and vehicle legislation, and industry and trade practices.The successful candidate will have proven customer service skills and high standards of numeracy and literacy. You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product range.
The main responsibilities are to organise service activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation. Departmental profitability through the effective marketing and sale of labour, parts, accessories, lubricants, subcontracted services and other value added products and services must be maximised.
